Cities Now Sucking Off the Tit of the Big Pig

Brace yourselves...now that the Democrats are in charge we are going to see an increase of people, companies, and government agencies begging for money. Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Atlanta are some of the first.

Can anyone tell my why people feel they must have the government bail them out when they get their little panties wet? Why can't the people in these cities get their acts together and start something to help their own people? Perhaps they have it already, but if the city can't collect the revenue from their own people then why should the rest of the country bail them out? That is what asking for federal assistance is, it's government welfare.

Look, I'm all for the person who has an emergency situation getting help. I think this person should try all other means of getting help first such as looking at churches, friends, family, multiple jobs, etc. I don't mind if they're helped out by their country or state for a little while, but we have career welfare recipients and now we have corporate and government welfare recipients sucking off the tit of the big federal government pig. That's what bailing out mortgage companies and auto manufacturing companies is you know. Are you part of that?

Do you have enough guts to start your own business or get a few jobs to support your family? Your ancestors did it (hopefully.) Your parents and grandparents probably did it. So let's try this:

1. Get a few jobs to pay off your bills. Can't find a job? Then do something that will help. Sweep floors, mow lawns, shovel snow. I'm sure there are some out there willing to pay you for it. So what, it's a below minimum wage job. GET OVER IT.

2. Figure out a plan to stop spending money that you DO NOT have and start paying off your bills. Save less money. OOOOHHH yes, she said it. Look at the percentages on your credit card bills. Are they 19 to 21%? How much is your savings plan giving you? 1%? Yikes! Which one is paying you better? Neither! Get your bills paid and then save. You'll put away MORE money paying off that 21% than you will getting 1% off of $5.00.

3. Tell your kids to work. That's right. Tell them to put away their little video games and Internet connections that are teaching them how to shoot and kill and teach them how to earn and save. What a concept!

4. Stop the need to drive a $30,000 car that you cannot afford. The size of car payments are silly. Just a few years ago it was only $300 to lease a nice BMW. Now it's astronomical. Do you really need that new car? Do you really need to pay $30,000 for something that will only be worth $1,000 in 10 years?????? You're better off walking and putting your money into gold, diamonds, or property. Then, when your gold, diamonds or property can buy five $30,000 cars then you can think about buying one.

Stop sucking off the government. It hurts you, me, your neighbor and your kids. If you must do it, then learn some new skills while you're at it and find a different job. The job market isn't as bad as you think it is. People still sit their fat butts in line at McDonald's so if you can stand up for a few hours a day then you can work a fast food job until you find something else.

No?

Get over yourself then. You're not that important.
