I've heard of crazy punishment before, but to make people listen to music is hardly a punishment. I mean, it might be if it's some band like Trivium or some screamo noise, but to listen to Barry Manilow will put these guys to sleep. I don't see how listening to him is punishment because even if you don't like classic pop music, his isn't too bad.
See, if someone put me into a room with Trivium or some rap band then I would have a problem with it. They won't do it because that music is degrading and demoralizing--at least the songs about raping women, killing cops, and doing drugs are. Then again, I listen to punk which is anarchy at its finest.
Is this the new thought police? Kind of like the prison in Demolition Man? They force you to listen to something for brain conditioning? Because all this will do is sooth you.
